Can you remove the triangle from the shakles? This is a great beginner tavern puzzle, and something unexpected for experienced puzzle solvers.
This is a classic Tucker Jones brand tavern puzzle, which are the best and are really nicely crafted. They are hefty, and blacksmithed in New York State. They come in a nice muslin bag. The solution is not included.
Tavern puzzles are mechanical in nature; removal of the object piece does not rely on force or trickery.
