It's Ludo!
Introduced in 1896, Ludo is a strategy board game for two to four players in which the players race their four tokens from start to finish according to the rolls of a single die. Like other cross and circle games, Ludo is derived from the Indian game Pachisi, but simpler. A piece moves from its starting spot, clockwise around the perimeter of the board, to the finishing spots. Each player can enter their finishing spots only. The winner is the player whose four pieces finish the journey first. A great family game!
This nice wood Ludo set includes pegs (stored inside the case), and a wooden die.
