An amazing introduction to coding and robotics for children grades K-2, this kit will teach how to program a real robot named Sammy! Sammy may look like an adorable peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but on its underside is an OID optical scanner, which can read and record the code cards included in the kit.

Help Sammy navigate through 6 different storylines by laying down a sequence of code card commands which it will scan and perform. You can move Sammy in different directions, light up its multicolor LED, play sounds and respond to different function cards. Includes 417 pieces, 30 experiments and a 64 page experiment manual.

Appropriate for children as young as 4, with help from an adult, to over eight years old. Lessons become increasingly complex as you progress.

This is a BIG kit, measuring 16.5 x 11.5 x 4 inches. It's a very thoughtful STEM gift for introducing kids to the concepts of coding!

Requires 3 AA batteries, not included.
