This knotty little puzzle is all about thinking inside the box.
The brainchild of Dutch inventor Guido Lap, it uses simple elements to stretch your spatial reasoning to new limits. Elastic bands connect colored tabs on opposite sides of a clear, plastic case.
Your challenge is to group the tabs by color, sliding them along the slots cut in the clear plastic, without getting yourself (and the cords inside) all tied up in knots. A great brain-teasing puzzle for older children and adults.
Much like a Rubik's Cube, this puzzle comes solved. Mix it up thoroughly and then play!
Difficulty: 3/4 out of 5.
This is a pretty large puzzle. The box measures about 6.5 by 5 inches.
Recommended for ages 8 and up.
